This course looks at unique issues facing self-employed buyers when getting a mortgage. You will learn about the relationship between business types and useable income and assets among the different mortgage programs. We will discuss how specific treatment based on federal law and the IRS tax code impacts a self-employed buyer uniquely compared to the standard wage earner buyer. We will set expectations for navigating the requirements and process, so you are familiar with how to speak with their clients on the issues.
